It's September? WUT? How did that happen? I managed to read all of the September issues without truly appreciating that September was coming sooner than I was prepared for. Suddenly my social calendar is popping with events that call for fabulous attire and I need to shop!
Recently I blogged about trying to find cocktail dresses for upcoming events. This post is a bit of a continuation of that idea. The little black dress is a sleuth ninja that can often go from one occasion to the next without being detected as a "repeat" as long as you stick to a classic shape and mix up your accessories for each event.

Yes, I am well aware that #4 has a bit too much sparkle to be a wardrobe ninja, but it would have been too painful for me to not include that little piece of happy in this post! Everyone needs a sparkly LBD!
