First I have to preface that I have not been paid or compensated by TRIA Beauty in way. This is a very honest review.
I have been wanting to do this review for over two months. What held me back is that I needed to know that this device REALLY worked and that it wasn't just me getting my hopes up.
Having dealt with heinous cystic acne, then hormonal (post having children) acne, drove me to work in this field and seek honest answers, with absolutely NO bias. I wanted to know more, how to help people; how to help myself.
TRIA Blue Light
At this point in my life I sought out the TRIA Blue Light for my teenage son, Houston. Knowing what I KNOW about topical and oral treatments, I felt that I needed to seek a much more natural cure first, before surrendering to chemicals.
Asking my child to expose himself, in such a vulnerable way, to take "before & after" photos with raging acne, then healed skin, was not an option. No.
What I do know is that this device works wonders, in a very safe and healthy way. My son is an all seasons athlete. His skin exposed 365 days of the year to the elements. Even though he is wearing sunscreen, retin-A and oral meds would make his skin and immune system very vulnerable. I had to find something better, something that would truly help him.
Houston's skin looks so good now, without all of the external and internal chemicals. With all of this being said, sometimes topical and oral meds are all that will work. The blue light worked wonders for us, but sometimes the big guns (meds) need to be called in. Do what you need to do.
This is a system that is easy enough for a teenage boy to use. *SAYING A LOT, RIGHT THERE*
He continues to use the Blue-Light because he has continued results. Results motivate people. I cannot reccomend this device enough! If it can tackle his teenage zits and my hormonal flares, I am certain that it can help so many people, in a very natural way.
I am so thankful that this very healthy treatment is working for my son. If it didn't work, then yes, I would seek out the big guns. In the mean time, cheers to TRIA Blue-light!
