Thank you to all of you for sticking around while I have been so absent from my blog! I greatly appreciate each and every one of you that stop by to read my blog. Your comments bring me joy, perspective, and deepen friendships that would never have been possible without blogger.
Thank you!

Jerry and I hosted Thanksgiving Day at our home. My two sisters, Autumn and Cheyenne, were able to be here with their families, along with mom and dad. Traditionally, Thanksgiving Day is celebrated at my parent’s home; Mom had her hip replacement surgery the week before Thanksgiving.
My sister’s, their husbands, Jerry and I worked together to cook a delicious feast featuring all of the recipes that mom has made year after year. The taste of these dishes brought back wonderful memories from Thanksgivings past. Autumn, Cheyenne, and I will forever be grateful for these treasured recipes that have been handed down for generations.
My heart was overwhelmed with emotion when we all sat down to eat Thanksgiving dinner. Thankful, I had so much to be thankful for; both of my parents, all of my siblings, our husbands, and our children were together, eating a wonderful meal and we celebrated all of the love and memories that we all had shared over the years. We created new memories too.
Mom and dad were not able to stay long, they ‘dined and dashed’ as mom needed to be back home in her bed as she was recovering from her surgery.
I have mentioned that my mom is tough as nails. My parents live almost an hour away, but only my mom would be badass enough to rally like she did! The woman had her entire left hip replaced the week before! She is recovering well. Thank you all for your uplifting thoughts and prayers for her.
Of course all of the pics from Turkey day were taken on mom’s camera, so I have none to add to this post! *hangs head in shame*
Did you all have joyous celebrations too? I am looking forward to reading all of your posts!
