All my sweet Savanna wanted for her birthday was to have her room redecorated. She scoured Pinterest for ideas and then let me at her room. I love to decorate and I especially love a good DIY project. She and I have been pretty housebound since her surgery, so this was a welcome distraction and super fun.

I pretty much repainted everything in her room. The bed transformed from cream to bright white. Old side tables that we had in the basement were spray painted gold. Faith's old vanity received a new coat of paint as well, and is now Savanna's desk (also brought up from the storage area in the basement). Cork boards, knick knacks, curtain rods, all repainted.
The dresser that used to take up a ton of space is now residing in her closet. I wish that I would have thought to put it there years ago!
Paint is pretty awesome. It can quickly give an old piece new life, and a room new energy.
Target was where I scored most of her new linens and decor items. (I bought the queen size comforter set so that it would drape over the sides of the bed)
White fluffy comforter and shams, Tiffany blue and white sheet set, Velvet decorative pillow, Curtains, OMG and LOL picture frames,
Glitter alphabet sticker letters used for the OMG and LOL wall art, Chandelier
The lamps, owls, trays, and 'S' coasters were TJ MAXX finds. I printed off and framed alphabet letters that I found on google to create the L-O-V-E collage above the desk. The polka dot cork board with the fancy frame was a DIY that I did recently, thanks to a THIS fancy girl and her DIY post.
The big stuffed animals were gifts from previous birthdays. They, along with Savanna and the pugs, love the new glam pad! Now to persuade Houston to let me redecorate his room!
