It's Friday! I try not to wish away the days, but this has been a WEEK! Tuesday I was certain that it was actually Thursday. For the entire day I thought that. That alone will make for a long week!

[ONE]
I did something AMAZING for me! I hired a house cleaner! She came yesterday and I am certain that I am in LOVE with her.
I have been wanting to hire a house cleaner to come once every two weeks for a while now. (I even made an attempt to hire one a few years ago, but I am not even going down that road today! HA!) Before we moved into this house (almost four years ago already) we actually had a husband and wife cleaning team at our last house that my late MIL had hired (they were her cleaners) to help me while I was on six months of bed rest during my pregnancy with Faith. It was so sad to give them up when we moved!
Life gets really freaking busy. Why spend your life cleaning toilets if you don't have to? So I got over my guilt and hired a cleaner. Yes, I felt guilty about it until she came and worked her magic. I got over that guilt REAL quick!

This week was super emotional. I faced the reality that I am really hard on myself. Why do we women do this? We would grant grace to friends and loved ones without thinking twice, but punish ourselves for the slightest imperfections. I am working on being kinder to myself.
[THREE]
I cannot do it all, not well anyway. Part of being gentler with myself was figuring out ways to make my schedule a bit less hectic. So I hired this service too!
Legit pick up and delivery service for dry cleaning. I always thought that it would cost so much more, but come to find out, it is actually CHEAPER! They even do repairs and alterations! HOLLA!

Friday evening calls for cocktails! This dreamy bar cart from Target would be perfect for cocktail hour! I have been searching for one forever!
